Internetissä reitit ilmoitetaan prefikseinä: autonominen järjestelmä kertoo naapureilleen BGP:llä, että se pystyy toimittamaan liikenteen esimerkiksi verkkoon 193.166.0.0/15. Tämä työkalu hakee prefiksin päivittäisestä kopiostamme maailmanlaajuisesta reititystaulusta ja näyttää kolme asiaa:
- Täsmälleen ilmoitettu: mikä AS on juuri tämän prefiksin alkuperä. Useampi kuin yksi alkuperä (MOAS) on normaalia anycast-palveluille ja osalle monikotiutetuista verkoista, muuten epäilyttävää.
- Kattavat reitit: väljemmät ilmoitukset, jotka sisältävät prefiksin. Liikenne seuraa tarkinta reittiä, joten kattavalla reitillä on merkitystä, jos tarkempi katoaa.
- Tarkemmat reitit: sen sisällä olevat ilmoitukset, jotka voivat kuulua muille verkoille (asiakkaille – tai kaappaukselle).
Jokaisen ilmoitetun reitin kohdalla tarkistetaan myös RPKI: valtuuttaako jokin ROA sen alkuperä-AS:n.
Taulu on APNIC:n reittikeräimen näkymä. Valtaosa maailmanlaajuisesta taulusta näyttää samalta mistä tahansa katsottuna, mutta ennen keräintä suodatettu reitti ei näy.
Usein kysyttyä
Miksi /24-lohkoani ei näy mutta /16 näkyy?
Osoitteesi ilmoitetaan osana suurempaa lohkoa, eikä kukaan ilmoita /24:ää erikseen. Se on tavallinen tilanne useimmille operaattorin asiakkaille.
Mikä on tarkemman reitin kaappaus?
Joku ilmoittaa osoiteavaruutesi sisältä pidemmän prefiksin. Koska reitittimet suosivat tarkinta reittiä, liikenne menee hänelle. RPKI tiukalla enimmäispituudella tekee tällaisista ilmoituksista virheellisiä.
Voinko antaa yksittäisen osoitteen?
Voit. Työkalu näyttää silloin tarkimman ilmoitetun reitin, joka sisältää osoitteen.
